1940s Rolex oyster 14K chronometer 4270 17 jewel viceroy
1953 14K&SS Rolex Ovettone #6084
This is a Genuine Rolex 14K & Stainless Steel Model #6084, Serial #905***(1953). The Stainless Steel Head is 34mm with 14K (pink I think) Smooth Bezel and Original (Yellow Gold) Super Oyster Crown. The Super Oyster was made only for a short period of time (1 1/2 years or so) and this Model is sometimes referred to as the "Big Bubbleback" or the "Ovettone'". It's about 12mm thick. The back is a little dinged up and is engraved "Love From Mom & Dad 1953". Dial looks to be an old refinish but a pretty good one. It's running fine though the Rotor rattles a bit if you shake the watch. That can be remedied but I wouldn't bother as it's working fine as it is. The strap is leather and unrelated non-Rolex.

Should fit about a 7 1/2" Wrist. Original Riveted Oyster Bracelet. Nice Watch. 100% Factory Original Rolex.
